Espresso Mizunomori

Mizunomori x Coffee: Coffee beans soaked in shochu from Yakushima are roasted, extracted into espresso, and bottled as is.

 Yakushima, a World Heritage site surrounded by abundant nature, is home to Yakushima Denshogura, the island's only brewery that still uses handmade earthenware jars. The jars have been in existence since 1887, and the traditional method of brewing has been passed down. This sweet potato shochu is made from Yakushima's soft water and the island's locally grown sweet potato, "Shiratoyo," and embodies the natural beauty of Yakushima. Its sweetness, richness, and umami are unique to brewing in handmade black koji earthenware jars, and you can enjoy the rich aroma of the "Kura no Sei" yeast that has lived in the brewery for many years.
 Yakushima Roaster has a roasting workshop located close to Honbo Shuzo's sake brewery.
 Yakushima Roaster's coffee is ground with water from Yakushima and carefully roasted.
 Mizunomori Coffee has a clean, refreshing taste, and you can really taste the flavor of sweet potatoes from Yakushima.

 [How to enjoy espresso bottles]
 1. Espresso We recommend sweetening concentrated coffee (as a cafe base) with hot or iced coffee!
 2. Americano/Cafe au Lait: Dilute with 2-3 times the amount of water, hot water, or milk.
 3. Cocktail: Mix with soda and squeeze in citrus juice
 4. Affogato: Try a new texture by pouring chilled espresso over ice cream.
